Trent Reznor
Bands/Projects
Note: This is not a full list of bands and projects; just noteworthy ones
- Nine Inch Nails
- Formed by Trent in 1988, as he wanted to branch out and create his own music using his own concepts and ideas.
- Trent was considered the only "official" member of the band (despite many others contributing to the recording of the albums, and other musicians playing in the band for live shows), until 2016 when Atticus Ross became another official member of the band.
- A majority of the lyrics contained Trent's feelings about his own life, mental health struggles, stories loosely based off of those struggles, and commentary on politics.
- Film/TV scores
- How To Destroy Angels
- Pigface
- Supergroup formed by Martin Atkins & William Rieflin in 1990
- Has featured over 150 musicians throughout various albums
- Trent worked on the song Suck with Pigface, eventually remaking it entirely for his Broken EP. He also performed this song live with Nivek Ogre, which can be watched here!
- Exotic Birds
- Synthpop band formed in Cleveland in 1982
- Tapeworm
- Group formed in 1995 by Trent, Danny Lohner, and Charlie clouser
- Slowly evolved into a supergroup, but never released any recordings, and was ended around 2004.
